SYNOPSIS (with spoilers)​​​

The story opens in a courtroom as HENRY watches a judge suspiciously dismiss the case of his wealthy client, TY GORDON. When Henry asks Ty how the judge could have overlooked Ty’s illegal offshore account, Ty makes it clear that there was never any account. In Ty’s office, Henry meets Ty’s assistant JANE, who gives Henry an address on post-it where Ty’s says they will celebrate and give Henry a little extra reward. At home, Henry’s wife MELISSA is a little miffed she’s not invited to the celebration, but when she finds Jane’s post-it in Henry’s clothes, she doesn’t say anything. Melissa’s best friend TIFFANY suggests Henry could be cheating and drives her to the address on the post-it. Tiffany hilariously forces her way into OSCAR’s apartment across the street, where they spy on Henry. When they see him kiss another woman, Melissa is devastated. She goes home to pack an overnight bag, but before she leaves, Henry shows up and insists they leave town at once.

On the run at the airport Henry explains that TY, a shady client, might want him dead for knowing too much about an illegal account, and that Jane, the woman Melissa saw him with, was really Ty’s assassin sent to kill him. Who he killed in self defense. Melissa almost believes Henry, but when Tiffany checks Henry's story, Jane’s body is missing, having been “cleaned up” by Ty’s second hitman, JOHN. Her text to Melissa arrives too late and she’s stuck on a plane with Henry to Seattle. Tiffany is convinced Henry is lying about the whole thing, so she takes a later flight to Seattle. Where she unknowingly befriends hitman John, who is headed to kill Henry and Melissa.

 

Tiffany catches up to Melissa and Henry at a small town resort and receives a photo from Oscar showing Jane’s body being wheeled out by an unidentifiable cleaner (John), proving Henry was telling the truth. John botches an attempted sniper shot at Henry and takes Melissa hostage. Henry and Tiffany put aside their differences, band together, rescue Melissa, and with some later assistance from John, who has fallen for Tiffany, set an FBI trap for Ty, who gets arrested. In the final scene, Henry and Melissa (who is expecting a baby) and Tiffany visit John in prison where Tiffany says she’ll date him when he gets released (and offers him a future "conjugal" visit).
